Penetration Testing

External and internal Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing across your infrastructure — to find the misconfigurations, exposed services and trust relationships an attacker would chain into real access.

⊕

Service Overview

Network Penetration Testing assesses the systems, services and infrastructure that sit behind your applications — firewalls, servers, network devices, domain controllers and the services exposed across your perimeter and internal segments.

We look at what is reachable, what is running, how it is configured and how segments trust one another. From there we test whether an attacker on the outside can gain a foothold, and whether an attacker who is already inside can move laterally and escalate toward sensitive systems.

Every exposure is validated through controlled exploitation, so you get a clear picture of which weaknesses lead to real access — not just a scanner list of theoretical CVEs with no proven impact.

From one exposed service to full compromise

Individual misconfigurations rarely matter on their own. We show how a weak service, a reused credential and an over-trusted segment combine into a path that reaches your most critical assets.

Benefits

[01]

Real attack paths, not CVE lists

You see the actual routes from exposure to impact, with each hop proven — instead of an unfiltered scanner dump.

[02]

Internal and external coverage

We assess both your perimeter and what an attacker could do once inside, including lateral movement and privilege escalation.

[03]

Segmentation reality-check

We verify whether your network segmentation actually holds up, or whether flat trust lets one host compromise many.

[04]

Prioritised, fixable output

Findings are ranked by exploitability and blast radius so your team fixes the issues that close the most dangerous paths first.

Why Choose HackersForce

A structured assessment of your infrastructure from both the outside and the inside — mapping exposure, validating weaknesses and proving how far an attacker could realistically get.

▸ How we approach testing

We start by understanding what should be exposed and how your network is meant to be segmented, then test where reality diverges from that intent and where trust can be abused.

✓ External perimeter — exposed services, ports and remote-access entry points
✓ Internal network reachability and host-to-host trust relationships
✓ Network segmentation and isolation between zones (VLANs, DMZ, internal)
✓ Active Directory configuration, trusts and privilege escalation paths
✓ Authentication services and credential exposure (SMB, LDAP, Kerberos)
✓ Default, weak or reused credentials across systems and devices
✓ Unpatched and end-of-life services with known exploit paths
✓ Network device and firewall configuration (routers, switches, VPN)
✓ Service misconfigurations and unnecessary exposed functionality
✓ Lateral-movement opportunities and pivoting between segments
✓ Sensitive data and share exposure on internal systems
✓ Logging and detection gaps around exploitation activity

Engagements follow a repeatable, standards-aligned process so coverage is consistent and every finding is traceable from discovery to remediation.

01

Scoping & Rules of Engagement

We agree IP ranges, test windows, internal access and constraints in writing before any active testing begins.

02

Discovery & Enumeration

We map live hosts, open ports, running services and the structure of the network to plan attack paths.

03

Vulnerability Analysis

We identify weaknesses across services, configurations and credentials, filtering out noise to focus on what is exploitable.

04

Exploitation & Lateral Movement

We safely exploit validated weaknesses, then test escalation and movement toward higher-value systems.

05

Reporting & Free Retest

You get an executive summary and technical report, then we retest your fixes at no extra cost.

A sample of the issue classes we routinely uncover across network infrastructure — every report ties each one to a concrete proof-of-concept and a remediation path.

FAQs

Both, depending on scope. External testing assesses your internet-facing perimeter; internal testing assesses what an attacker could do from inside the network. Most clients benefit from both for a complete picture.
We test conservatively by default and avoid destructive techniques unless explicitly authorised. Any potentially intrusive activity is agreed in advance and scheduled around low-traffic windows.
For internal and assumed-breach testing we ask for standard user access or a foothold host. This reflects a realistic attacker who has already gained an initial position, and reveals far more than an unauthenticated scan.
A scan lists potential issues; we validate them. We prove which exposures are actually exploitable, chain them into real attack paths and show the business impact — removing false positives in the process.
Yes. AD is one of the most common routes from a foothold to full domain compromise, so we test trusts, delegation, credential exposure and escalation paths in detail where it is in scope.
An executive summary and a detailed technical report with validated findings, attack-path narratives, CVSS scoring, evidence and prioritised remediation — plus a free retest after you remediate.
